FMTC Safety is a global safety training provider specializing in Offshore, Wind, Maritime, and Industry training. With locations in The Netherlands, USA, France, and Saudi Arabia, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and accessible safety training solutions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Interim Financial Administrator to join our team in Amsterdam. This c. 16-32 hour, on-site role will focus primarily on account payables management, with additional support for accounts receivables and month-end closing activities.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable processes. You may also assist in accounts receivables and help the team during the month-end closing to ensure financial reports are accurate and delivered on time.

 

Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process supplier invoices in the invoicing system

  • Match supplier invoices with payments in ERP system

  • Collect and maintain records for card transactions

  • Assist in weekly payment runs

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Match payments with invoices in ERP system

  • Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment issues in collaboration with clients.

Qualifications:

  • MBO or HBO degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of accounting entries, and able to handle basic financial tasks (e.g. coding invoices, matching payments, etc)

  • 0-2 years experience or internship in accounts payable/receivable, or in the financial department.

  • Organized, reliable, good eye for detail

  • Comfortable working with ERP systems

  • Strong communication skills on paper and spoken.

  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Exact Online is a plus.

  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
