OPITO Training Instructor

FMTC Safety in Gray, LA is seeking a knowledgeable and safety‑driven OPITO Instructor to join our offshore training team. Our Gray location supports oil and gas personnel, marine crews, and emergency‑response professionals across the Gulf Coast, delivering internationally recognized OPITO programs that prepare workers for the realities of offshore operations. We’re looking for an instructor who brings strong field experience, professionalism, and a passion for developing competent, confident offshore personnel.

As an OPITO Instructor, you will deliver courses such as BOSIET, FOET, HUET, Tropical BOSIET, and other OPITO‑approved programs depending on your credentials. You’ll guide trainees through both classroom instruction and hands‑on practical evolutions using our survival pool, helicopter simulator, firefighting grounds, rescue equipment, and dedicated training facilities. This role requires a deep commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality instruction.
