Badhoevedorp - Firefighting Instructor

For our training center in Badhoevedorp, we are looking for a driven and passionate Firefighting Instructor (m/f/d) who wants to enable people to work safely and optimally prepare them for emergency situations in offshore environments.

As a Firefighting Instructor in Badhoevedorp, you don’t just deliver courses, you create impactful learning experiences that truly prepare people for real-life emergencies.

What will you do?

• You will train participants daily to manage various emergency incidents, including:

  • fires in internal accommodations,

  • hazardous materials,

  • spilled chemicals,

  • radiation incidents,

  • fires involving flammable liquids,

  • rescues from heights and confined spaces,

  • and aircraft fires and crashes.

• Guide participants through realistic and hands-on exercises

• Create a safe, energetic and engaging learning environment

• Uphold the highest safety standards, because in this role, rules and procedures are non-negotiable

What do you bring?

• Experience as an instructor is a plus - your mindset matters most.

• Experience as a firefighter

• Good command of English

• A proactive, flexible, and hands-on attitude

• A genuine passion for safety, training and working with people

• Experience in an offshore environment, airport, industrial complex or local government where aircrafts are used

• You understand the relevant standards, including OPITO, STCW, NOGEPA, and GWO

• A serious commitment to safety rules and protocols, because the well-being of our participants is our top priority
