FMTC Safety is the safety training center for Offshore training (OPITO & NOGEPA), Wind training (GWO), Maritime training (STCW), and Industry training. Every day people are prepared to work and live safely on a drilling platform or a ship.

In addition to our Dutch locations, we also have various locations worldwide; in the US, Belgium, France and (KSA).

JOB DESCRIPTION
It's your primary job to make ensure that all trainings are done accordingly to the company requirements. You spot, analyze and answer the customers training needs. This function is therefore very diverse and can vary from setting up the training location to maintain all of the training and office material. You report activities weekly to the location manager.

We are seeking a passionate individual who enjoys training others in new technologies and preparing them for the dynamic field of teh maritime industry. As a safety Trainer, you will play a crucial role in equipping individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in this rapidly evolving sector.

• Location: FMTC  Amsterdam and Dordecht.

• Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging training sessions on emergency response and safety procedures

  • Prepare individuals for working in challenging environments

  • Incorporate water and survival techniques into training programs

  • Assess trainees' progress and provide constructive feedback

• Qualifications:

  • Experience in maritime industry or related field

  • Passion for teaching and mentoring others

  • Comfortable working at heights and in water environments

  • Knowledge of survival techniques
