Badhoevedorp - Offshore helideck instructor

For our training center in Badhoevedorp, we are looking for a driven and passionate Offshore Helideck Instructor who wants to enable people to work safely and optimally prepare them for helicopter operations and emergency situations on helidecks.

Job requirements

As an Offshore Helideck Instructor in Badhoevedorp, you are at the heart of our training center. You don’t just deliver courses—you create impactful learning experiences that truly prepare people for real-life helicopter operations and emergencies.

What will you do?

No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what excites you. You take full ownership of your trainings and:

• Deliver high-quality training courses for helideck operations according to OPITO, GWO and industry standards (HLO, HERTL and others)

• Execute and continuously improve hands-on training sessions, including realistic helideck scenarios, emergency response drills and helicopter landing coordination

• Guide participants through practical helideck operations, including safety protocols, passenger handling and emergency procedures

• Uphold the highest safety standards, because in this role, rules and procedures are non-negotiable

What do you bring?

• Offshore helideck operations experience is required

• Experience as an instructor is a plus - your mindset matters most

• Ideally, certifications in OPITO HLO/HERTL, GWO, or equivalent (or the willingness to obtain them)

• Good command of English

• A proactive, flexible, and hands-on attitude

• A genuine passion for safety, training and working with people

• Experience in offshore operations, emergency response or aviation safety is a strong advantage

• A serious commitment to safety rules and protocols, because the well-being of our students is our top priority
