For our head office at Schiphol/ Amsterdam, we are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Customer Support team. You will be the point of contact for our customers in the Offshore and Maritime industry.
Who are we?
FMTC Safety is the safety training center for Offshore training (OPITO & NOGEPA), Wind training (GWO), Maritime training (STCW), and Industry training. Every day, we prepare people to work safely on drilling platforms, ships, and wind turbines. At five unique training locations in the Netherlands, our instructors passionately and convincingly impart their knowledge to national and international students. Besides the Netherlands, FMTC also operates in America, Belgium, France, and the Middle East.
Safety is our top priority. But flexibility also characterizes our way of working. With great enthusiasm, we do everything we can to serve our customers as well as possible.
What will you be doing?
You have daily contact with both existing and new customers.
You ensure optimal processing of bookings and requests.
You handle specific requests, often in coordination with other departments.
You have broad knowledge of our services and play an advisory role towards our customers.
You ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly and are completely under control.
You actively think along with management to improve processes and show initiative in this.
You identify customer needs and pass them on to management.

What do we expect from you?
Being a Customer Support Officer at FMTC means that you work quickly and accurately, have a high-quality standard, and find it challenging to think a little further and help the customer in the best possible way. No day is the same at FMTC, so it is important to be flexible and able to switch quickly.
What else do we ask for:
Minimum MBO (level 4) education level.
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.
French-speaking is a plus.
A team player who can also work well independently.
Available for 32-40 hours per week.
